The Categories Page is the perfect place for you to create and organize your categories with just a few clicks. Similar to our Products page, it's super easy to use and will help you sort everything out in no time!
How to Add Categories
Head over to the Categories page under your Products tab.
Click on Add Category located at the top right of your screen.
Name your category. Adding an image is optional, but the default Cococart paper bag image will appear if you don't add one:
Select the products for your new category:
Remember to hit Save located at the bottom of your page to set your changes live!
How to rearrange your categories and products
You can easily rearrange your categories by clicking on the "Reorder Categories" button located in the top right corner. You'll also be able to drag your categories so they can appear in a specific order on your shop.
To rearrange the order of your products, simply edit your category and scroll down to the Products section. From there, you can drag and drop your products in order using the reorder icon on the right:
IMPORTANT:
All uncategorized products will go into the Everything Else category. If you'd rather hide this category, make sure all your products are grouped into your existing categories.
On the other hand, if you'd like to keep the Everything Else category, you can upload your own photo to replace the default one.
