If you want to scan a PayNow QR code using a banking app on the same phone you are using for checkout, you will need to screenshot the QR code and upload it to your banking app.

Here's how you'll start:

  1. Take a screenshot of the PayNow QR code on your phone.

  2. Switch to your banking app.

  3. Find the feature in your banking app that allows you to scan QR codes for payment.

  4. Upload the screenshot of the QR code.

🚩 Limitation

  • It’s recommended to use the original QR code provided for making the payment. This is because Stripe has a limitation where it does not support or recognize payments made through multiple QR codes.

Generating or using a different QR code could result in failed transactions or payment discrepancies, as Stripe only tracks and processes the first QR code issued for that transaction.
