How do you accept payments using the Cococart POS?

This guide will walk you through the steps to accept payments using the Cococart POS, making it easier to keep your sales running smoothly.

Accepting payments with the Cococart POS system is a straightforward process that ensures your business transactions are handled efficiently. 

At the moment, automated payments are exclusive to orders placed online through your Cococart shop. For any in-store transactions, you have to collect the payment manually through cash or accept the payments through bank transfer and e-wallets but manually validate them.

For Cash Payments:

  1. Add the item to the order and click Pay.

  2. This window will appear showing all the enabled payments accepted by your POS.

  3. You can input the cash payment by pressing Enter Cash or conveniently selecting any of the amounts provided in the list.

  4. If the customer pays an amount that would require you to provide change, these windows will be visible:

For Bank Transfers / Paynow / E-wallets

  1. Add the item to the order and click Pay.

  2. This window will appear showing all the enabled payments accepted by your POS.

  3. You can select the payment gateway your customer used to settle the amount.
    You can print the QR code and place it at your payment counter, or you can also send the QR code to your customers via email or messaging apps for easy scanning.

  4. You have to manually validate the payment. Once you have received it, you can then press paid.

  5. The screen will automatically forward to the receipt printing confirmation page.
