How does the Loyalty Program work?

Encourage repeat purchases by rewarding customers with discounts!

Looking for a way to keep your customers hooked? Reward your regulars with discounts using the Loyalty Program! This feature is available to Pro subscribers.

Here's how to set it up:

  1. Head to your Loyalty page under the Marketing tab

  2. Click on the toggle to activate it

  3. Click on "Redeem rewards" to set the minimum spend and the total amount off you want to give your customers (Add as many as you want!)


    NOTE: The number of points to be redeemed per discount will depend on the minimum spend you set

IMPORTANT:

  • At the moment, you can't customize the number of points your customers will earn per dollar spent.


How to edit your customers' points

You can now update your customer's loyalty points in the Customers page under the Orders tab.

  1. Click on or search for the name of your customer

  2. In the customer details section, you'll see a "Loyalty Program" section

  3. You can then add or deduct points, as long as the customer has already signed up for your Loyalty Program

  4. Otherwise, if your customer hasn't signed up yet, you'll see the option to invite your customer to join your Loyalty Program:


How customers will join your Loyalty Program

Here's how customers can sign up for your Loyalty Program. They'll see it upon entering your shop front:

Once they click the Earn rewards button, they'll see this screen:

Clicking the Join & get 100 points button will lead customers to this screen:

After providing their email, customers will be sent a verification link. The "Check your points" button will also require customers to verify their email first for security purposes.

Upon clicking the email link, your customers will be redirected and logged in to your shop so they can start earning points with every purchase. The first 100 points should also show up in their screen:


How your customers earn points

To earn points, your customers have to be logged in to their Loyalty Program accounts before they place an order. 

At checkout, they'll be able to see how many points they'll be earning after placing their order:

IMPORTANT:

  • Customers will only earn points when their orders are marked as Approved (for manual payment methods or when successful payment is received (for automated payment methods).


How your customers redeem points

They can then redeem rewards by logging in to your store. Each login requires a verification email (just so we keep their points safe).

To redeem a reward, your customer just needs to log in, and then choose from the rewards you've set up for them:

After redeeming, a code will show up in their rewards:

They can then paste this code in the promo code field at checkout:
