At Cococart, we want to make sure your store stays safe and your selling experience stress-free. While most customers are awesome, sometimes you might run into fake, fraudulent, or just plain tricky ones. Here’s how we can help:

Blocking Customers

Right now, Cococart only lets us block fraudulent customers (like those using stolen payment details) or fake customers (like spammers placing nonsense orders).

👉 This means we can’t block customers just because they’re unresponsive, asked for a cancellation, or were a little difficult. Our goal is to keep things fair for buyers, while still protecting you from real abuse.

What to Do

If you think a customer might be fake or fraudulent, just reach out to our support team with:

  • The customer’s order ID(s)

  • Any proof you have (like failed payment attempts, spammy orders, or fake names/addresses)

We’ll take a look and help block them if needed.

When a Customer Gets Blocked

If someone is blocked, they won’t be able to buy from any shop on Cococart—not just yours.

In the meantime, if you ever get an order from someone who’s harassing, abusive, or spamming you, go ahead and cancel their order right away.

By keeping an eye out and using the tools in your Cococart dashboard, you can focus on the customers who truly matter—your real, happy buyers. 😊

💡 Pro Tip:

Instead of blocking right away, try keeping a record of suspicious behavior (like repeated failed payments or fake details). This not only helps you spot patterns faster but also gives Cococart Support more context if you ever need us to step in.
