How can I manage my subscription to avoid unexpected charges?

Cococart subscriptions automatically renew to keep your plan active and prevent interruptions to your service.

Written by Cococart Support Team

If you no longer want to continue your subscription, you’ll need to cancel it before your next renewal date. Simply making your shop private or stopping activity on your store will not cancel your subscription.

How subscription renewals work

Your Cococart subscription will automatically renew unless you cancel it before the renewal date.

Cococart will not change your subscription plan or subscribe you to a different plan without your consent. If you see a charge you weren’t expecting, check whether your existing subscription recently renewed.

Does making my shop private stop billing?

No. Setting your shop to Private only prevents visitors from accessing your storefront. Your subscription remains active, so billing will continue.

If you want to stop future subscription charges, you’ll need to cancel your subscription.

How to cancel your subscription

  1. Head to your Billing Page by clicking your shop name in the lower-left corner, then select Billing.

  2. From there, click “Manage Billing.” You’ll be redirected to the payment page.

  3. You'll be led to this page, where you'll see the option to cancel your plan.
Click on "Cancel Subscription" to proceed. Please make sure you're cancelling the correct subscription type.

  4. Proceed with the cancellation confirmation and press Cancel Subscription after double-checking the details.

  5. Your plan will then be canceled at the end of your current billing period. Afterwards, you will have to resubscribe to regain access to your account, and your shop will appear as closed, so your customers won't be able to place any orders.

Make sure your cancellation is completed before your next renewal date to avoid another subscription charge.

Before you cancel

Canceling your subscription prevents future renewals, but it’s important to review your account and billing details before completing the cancellation.

If you’re unsure whether a charge is related to your subscription, check your billing history or contact our Support team for help. 😊
