A verified delivery address is an address that has been confirmed or authenticated through Google Maps. Enabling this for your shop helps prevent errors in shipping and enhances the efficiency of delivery services by ensuring that deliveries are sent to the correct and valid locations. πŸ›΅

This feature is available for Growth and Pro subscribers. If you're using the Lalamove integration to book deliveries, this setting is automatically enabled and cannot be toggled off as it's a requirement for Lalamove.

On the other hand, if you're unable to use Lalamove for bookings, you can still enable this setting so your customers are aided in entering their delivery addresses:

While the addresses appearing are verified on Google Maps, it's best to remind your customers to double check if it's correct. There are a few addresses on Google Maps that are pinned on the wrong location. If the address auto-generated is incorrect, this will cause delivery mishaps, which we don't want you nor your customers to experience.

How do I enable this setting?

  1. Head to your Fulfillment settings

  2. Select Delivery, scroll down to "Verified delivery addresses"

  3. Toggle it on, then your customers will be able to put in addresses verified on Google Maps!
