How can I accept Manual Payments via PayPal?

Enable PayPal as a payment method and receive payments via your paypal.me link.

How can I share my paypal.me link?

  1. If you haven't set up your paypal.me link, click here. Once you've followed the instructions and created the link, copy your username.

  2. Log in to your Cococart dashboard. Head to your Payments settings and enable PayPal:

  3. Paste your username next to the paypal.me field.

  4. Click Save.

How can customers pay? 

Customers will then be able to select PayPal as a payment method on your store. Upon confirmation, they'll see this screen:


They can click the Pay via PayPal button to be redirected to the mobile app or Copy the payment link if they don't have it installed.

Once you've confirmed the successful receipt of payment, you can head back to your Cococart Orders page and mark the order as Paid.


You can also opt to include this under your payment instructions:


Important Note:

PayPal charges merchant fees for transactions categorized under

"For goods and services". If you'd like to avoid these fees, you may instruct your buyer to select the "For friends and family" option instead. Otherwise, merchant fees will be deducted from your customer's payment before being sent to your account.
