How can I charge taxes and fees on the POS?

Currently, taxes and additional charges can only be added and managed through your dashboard. Any fees you set up on the dashboard can also be applied to the POS system.

How are the taxes applied to a POS order?

There are two ways to apply taxes to your items: you can include them in the item price or list them separately. Once you add items to an order, the tax amount will automatically appear on the left side of the screen, just above the total.

If you select Included, here is how it is going to appear on the POS:

How are the extra fees or charges applied to a POS order?

This applies to additional fees that you wish to apply in the order. This could be service fees, delivery charges, or other applicable fees.


This is what it looks like if we apply a 10% Service Charge:

If your tax feature is enabled, the additional fees will be combined and displayed together. This is how it would look if we had an item with a 12% tax included in the price item and a 10% service charge:
