Introducing our new QR Code Ordering feature!
Your customers can simply scan a QR code to view your digital menu and place their orders directly from their smartphones — fast, seamless, and convenient.
Not on Online Store Pro yet?
You can still enjoy QR Code Ordering by getting it as a feature add-on.
Customers' Ordering Experience
Customers scan the unique QR code displayed on your table and access your menu.
Browse the menu and add items to their carts;
Check out and pay.
Orders are seamlessly sent to your dashboard for preparation, and voila! It's as simple as that. 😉
How to Set It Up from Your Dashboard
Once you're subscribed and enabled, you can set your store hours.
You can check it here.
The day must be checked for your menu to work on the respective days.
If a day isn't checked, your store will appear as closed when your customers scan your QR code:
Generate the QR codes that you'll put in your shop by going to Settings > QR Code Ordering > Download QR Codes.
Label name is optional:
Code will look like this:
💡 TIPS:
You can generate unique QR codes for each table, so you know who each order belongs to. Best to set this up using a laptop or a computer, as the QR codes are currently downloaded as .zip files.
How to Manage Orders in Your Dashboard
To check your in-store orders on your Orders dashboard, set your Fulfillment type to "In-store". The one with the QR code icon was taken using the feature.
Best to mark manually paid orders as approved once you've received their payments. 💰
Once you've confirmed their payments and delivered orders to their table, you can go ahead and click on "Mark as Fulfilled".
🚨Need to Know:
If you activate in-store orders, the same settings as your delivery orders are shared:
Products and variations
Payments and instructions
Custom questions
But don't worry - we're also working on a way for you to have separate settings for each! 😊
Having WhatsApp ordering activated in your shop does not affect, nor apply to, in-store ordering.
🚩Limitation
Orders taken using the QR code do not deduct products from the inventory.
