Got a physical store? Premium subscribers can now take customer experience to the next level, streamline order processing, and efficiently manage in-store operations!

Introducing our new QR code ordering feature: customers can enjoy the ultimate convenience of using a QR code to access digital menus and effortlessly place their orders right from their smartphones. No more waiting in line for your customers, and no more manually taking orders for you! 🀩

Customers' Ordering Experience

  1. Customers scan the unique QR code displayed on your table, and access your menu;

  2. Browse menu and add items to their carts;

  3. Checkout and pay;

  4. Orders are seamlessly sent to your dashboard for preparation, and voila! It's as simple as that. πŸ˜‰

How so Set It Up from Your Dashboard

  1. Toggle on in-store orders in your Physical store settings.

  2. Once enabled, set your store hours. The day must be checked in order for your menu to work on the respective days.

    If a day isn't checked, your store will appear as closed when your customers scan your QR code:

  3. Generate the QR codes that you'll put in your shop.

    πŸ’‘TIPS:

    You can generate unique QR codes for each table, so you know who each order belongs to.

    Best to set this up using a laptop or a computer, as the QR codes are currently downloaded as .zip files.

How to Manage Orders in Your Dashboard

  1. There are two ways to check your in-store orders:

    1. On your Orders dashboard, set your Fulfillment type to "In-store":

    2. On your Orders dashboard, click on "Actions" and choose "Focus view".

      ❗️NOTE: Orders only come out on the focus view once they're marked as "Approved" (for manually-paid orders) or "Paid" (for automatically-paid orders).Β

      πŸ’‘TIP: Best to mark manually paid orders as approved once you've received their payments. πŸ’°

      For example, in the photo below, only SWA05, ROB01, and LIL01 are marked as "Approved" and MAR01 and TED01 are still "Pending":

      If you click on "Focus view", you'll only see SWA05, ROB01, and LIL01:

      Once you approve MAR01 and TED01, they'll then appear in your Focus view:

      From your Focus view, you'll be able to see each order's table number, so you know where to deliver the orders completed! This is also perfect for your customers who want to split the tab - you no longer have to do it for them. πŸ˜‰

  2. Once you've confirmed their payments and delivered orders to their table, you can go ahead and click on "Mark as Fulfilled".

🚩 Need to Know:

  • If you activate in-store orders, the same settings as your delivery orders are shared:

    • Products and Inventory

    • Payments and instructions

    • Custom questions

    But don't worry - we're also working on a way for you to have separate settings for each! 😊

  • Having WhatsApp ordering activated in your shop does not affect, nor apply to in-store ordering.

  • Orders that are pending, rejected, cancelled, refunded, or archived will not show up in your Focus view.
