What you’ll learn

  • How to make your store look polished and credible

  • Simple ways to improve your product presentation

  • Best practices to increase customer trust and conversions

1. Use a Clear Shop Name & Logo

Your store identity is the first thing customers see.

Tips:

  • Use a simple, readable shop name

  • Upload a clean logo (a square, 1:1 format works best)

  • Avoid cluttered or low-resolution images

No logo yet?
You can start with a clean text-based name and upgrade later.

Upload your logo and update the shop name on the Appearance page.

Step 2: Write a clear store description

Go to the Appearance page.

Add a short description that explains what you sell on the Welcome Title.
Add your shipping restrictions, business hours, and other info on the Welcome Description.

Keep it:

  • Short

  • Specific

  • Easy to understand

Step 3: Use high-quality product photos

Go to Products and check if all products have 1:1 or 3:4 photos.

For each product:

  • Upload clear, well-lit photos

  • Use consistent backgrounds

  • Avoid blurry or overly edited images

💡 Tip: Natural lighting (near a window) works best.

Step 4: Keep product names and prices simple

Make your products easy to understand at a glance.

Good examples:

  • Chocolate Chip Cookies (Box of 6)

  • Iced Latte – 16oz

Make sure:

  • Prices are accurate

  • Variants (sizes, add-ons) are clearly labeled

Step 5: Organize your product list

Keep your store easy to browse.

  • Group similar items together in Categories.

  • Place bestsellers at the top

  • Hide unavailable products

Step 6: Set clear order options

Go to Settings → Order Settings

  • Enable pickup or delivery on the Fulfillment Page.

  • Add clear instructions (e.g., pickup location, delivery areas)

💡 Tip: Clear instructions reduce customer questions and missed orders.

You can add additional questions like the one below here.

Step 7: Enable online payments (optional but recommended)

Go to Settings → Default Methods

  • Turn on card or e-wallet payments

  • Keep cash as an option if needed

💡 Stores with online payments often look more professional and convert better.

You can start onboarding using Stripe or Xendit (PH).

Step 8: Preview your store before sharing

Before sending your store link to friends or sharing it on social media:

  • Review your store on mobile

  • Place a test order

  • Check for typos or missing details

You’re Ready 🎉

You don’t need a perfect design—just clear information and a clean presentation.

Once your store is set up:

  • Share your link on social media or messaging apps

  • Start accepting orders right away
