When placing an order with a Cococart merchant, payments are processed securely through the merchant’s chosen payment methods. Cococart does not store your full payment details.
1. What are the payment methods available
Merchants may offer different payment options depending on their setup. Common methods include:
Credit/debit cards
E-wallets (e.g., GCash, PayNow, or other local options)
Bank transfers
Cash on delivery (for selected merchants)
Only the payment methods enabled by the merchant will appear at checkout.
2. Why a payment may be declined
A payment can be declined for several reasons:
Incorrect card or account details
Insufficient funds
Bank or e-wallet security restrictions
Payment limits on your account
Tip: Try an alternative payment method or contact your bank/e-wallet provider if issues persist.
3. Duplicate charges or pending authorizations
Sometimes, a pending authorization may appear as a duplicate charge.
These are temporary and usually drop off automatically within a few business days.
If you are concerned, contact the merchant with your order ID for confirmation.
Note: Cococart ensures payments are processed only once; any apparent duplicate is typically a temporary hold from your bank.
4. I have been charged, but there was no email confirmation
Your transaction most likely failed. Any amount/s debited should be returned to you in 24-48 hours. Your order status is Incomplete.
If you did not complete your payment within the allotted payment window (usually 15–30 minutes), the payment request will expire.
Even if you complete the payment afterward, the system will not automatically detect it.
In this case, your order may not be confirmed.
Next steps: Contact the merchant directly with your order ID and payment proof. The merchant can confirm your order or advise on how to proceed.
Tip: Always complete payments promptly to ensure your order is successfully processed.
Need help?
For payment issues, always contact the merchant first—they can confirm the order status and assist with refunds or corrections.
Cococart guides how the platform works, but cannot directly modify payments or issue refunds.
