How are order refunds processed?

Who handles refunds?

Refunds are managed by the shop you purchased from, not Cococart directly.

Each shop has its own refund policy, including:

  • Eligibility for refunds

  • Approval requirements

  • Refund timelines

Cococart provides the platform, while the shop handles order fulfillment and refund decisions.


When am I eligible for a refund?

Refund eligibility depends on the shop’s policy, but common cases include:

  • Incorrect items received

  • Missing items

  • Cancelled orders (if cancellation is allowed)

  • Orders that could not be fulfilled by the shop

⚠️ Refunds may not be available for:

  • Change-of-mind purchases

  • Last-minute cancellations

  • Custom, made-to-order, or perishable items

Always check the shop’s refund or cancellation policy for details.


How the refund process works

If you believe you’re eligible for a refund:

  1. Contact the shop directly as soon as possible

  2. Provide your order ID and a brief explanation

  3. The shop will review your request

  4. If approved, the shop will initiate the refund

Once a refund is initiated, it will be sent back to your original payment method unless arranged otherwise.


How long do refunds take?

Refund timelines vary, but typically:

  • Shop approval: may take 1–3 business days

  • Payment processing:

    • Cards & e-wallets: 5–10 business days

    • Bank transfers: may take longer depending on your bank

What if I haven’t received my refund?

If you haven’t received your refund after the expected timeframe:

  1. Confirm with the shop that the refund was approved and processed

  2. Check with your bank or payment provider

  3. If the issue persists, contact Cococart Support at [email protected] with:

    • Order ID

    • Shop name

    • Date the refund was approved
