If your payment didn’t go through when ordering from a Cococart shop, don’t worry—this is usually caused by your bank or e-wallet provider. Here are the most common reasons and what you can do next.
1. Incorrect payment details
Double-check that you entered the correct:
Card number
Expiry date
CVV code
Mobile/wallet account details
Even a small typo may cause a payment to fail.
2. Insufficient funds
Your bank or e-wallet may decline the payment if your balance is not enough to complete the order.
3. Bank or e-wallet security blocks
Banks and e-wallets sometimes block online transactions they consider unusual or suspicious.
This can happen if:
It’s your first time paying this merchant
You’re making multiple attempts
Your account has security restrictions
Solution: Contact your bank/e-wallet provider and request that the transaction be allowed.
4. Payment limits
Some cards and wallets have:
Daily transaction limits
Online purchase limits
Per-transaction caps
Make sure your account allows payments of the amount you're trying to pay.
5. Payment window expired
If you didn’t complete the payment within the required 15–30 minute payment window, the payment request expires.
Even if you pay afterward, the system cannot detect it automatically.
What to do: Contact the merchant directly and send your order ID + payment proof.
6. Network or provider issues
Temporary downtime with your bank or e-wallet can also cause declines.
Try again later or switch to another payment method (if available).
